MTV: Engine Room

This might interest some of you guys.

MTV say:

  • We are seeking digital artists (at least 18 years of age) from around the globe to compete in a series of creative challenges utilizing HP computers.

  • Once selected, 16 people will be flown to New York City commencing on or about July 18, 2008 through on or about August 16, 2008 (collectively, the "Filming Dates"). They will compete in teams of 4 participants each for prizes by creating animations, websites, short films, sound mixes and more in the "Engine Room".

Thanks to Bob Ferraz for the tip

Why in the world hasn't anyone commented on this yet? This contest leaves a very RARE opportunity for young designers. I submitted my stuff about a week ago and I've already been contacted to submit more. This contest is legit and I for one hope that I make the show. I could def. use the money and the prizes would be great, too. If your young and tech savvy you should def. submit stuff. I mean it couldn't hurt, what's so bad about possibly getting a free trip to NYC for an entire month and the chance to win $400,000 bucks. I'm so there -- see you in the winners circle!!!

I agree Michelle. If you have a bit of time available you should definitely invest it in trying to get this.
I guess that not everybody is really into being in a reality show.
However, I am sure, if you get into this, it will be a very big boost to your career.
Good Luck Michelle. Hope to see you on MTV ;)

I didn't get an email.
I went to their website and checked the rules. However you are probably right.
Have you tried emailing them to get some info.
I'm sure they'll be happy to help you with any doubts you have.
I saw on the site that the castings were closed, so by now they must be judging the entries.

Good luck hell raiser
